Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it is essential to the artist!
Curiosity motivates me to explore techniques, color and
materials in my artwork. A few years ago I began working with
mixing paint and paper and discovered a love for expressive
abstraction. While I have enjoyed painting and drawing in a
traditional, realistic fashion, I feel that my mixed media and
abstracts help me to convey an excitement that I feel when I
work intuitively to explore color and stroke.
I work on my art in a studio in the town of Pawcatuck, Connecticut,
just over the border from Westerly, Rhode Island.
I am fortunate to have opportunities to show my work in some wonderful art galleries:
The Cassidy Gallery in Jackson, New Hampshire
The Artists Cooperative Gallery of Westerly
Classic Framers, Westerly, Rhode Island
South County Art Association
Studio M, Mystic, Connecticut
